Procedures and Safety Precautions

 

Procedures and safety precautions in the shipyard work area:

  • Only authorized individuals with a pass chip may enter the shipyard work area. 
  • Entry of vehicles into the shipyard area – only for loading and unloading and only vehicles authorized by the shipyard office. 
  • Activity in the shipyard area is prohibited during darkness and on Saturday.
  •   Crane services and accompanying services provided by the Marina – only during activity hours.
  •   Storage, transport and removal of boats to, into and from the dockage area (from sea and from land) will only be    performed by shipyard workers and after advance coordination with the shipyard Customer Service office.
  •   It is absolutely prohibited to make changes to boat supports!
  •   It is absolutely prohibited to perform any type of work in the shipyard area using work tools and/or facilities that  do not comply with accepted safety and environment protection standards
  •  Work on boats will only be performed in the area allocated to the boat and only in the shipyard area!
  •   Three-phase electricity connection – with advance coordination with the shipyard Customer Service office.
  •  Boats will only be polished with mechanical devices equipped with a      Pressure washing boats will only be performed in the washing area vacuum cleaner.
  •  Cleaning sand is absolutely prohibited.
  •  Spray painting – only in closed and sealed designated areas.
  •  Burned oil will only be disposed in designated containers and filters will only be disposed in designated bins. 
  • Work performed on boats is the sole responsibility of the boat owner!
  • Professionals working on the vessel – are the sole responsibility of the boat owner. 
  • Do not leave equipment or work tools in the shipyard area.
  • Sleeping on vehicles in the shipyard area is absolutely prohibited.
  • Cleanliness must be maintained as well as saving on water and electricity.
  • A professional will be authorized to work in the shipyard only if authorized by company management.
  • All individuals in the work area must wear safety shoes if there is risk of injury to their legs. 
  • It is the responsibility of the professionals to provide personal protection equipment, and in all cases to enforce its use.
