Acadia Beach North

Acadia Beach North

Acadia Beach North – a “Blue Flag” beach known by most as Dabush Beach, named after the Dabush Restaurant that used to operate there in the past. Those old enough will remember the horse carriages that used to arrive with their owners, who came to take a dip in the sea. Nowadays, it’s one of the most popular beaches, because it has the widest shorefront of all Herzliya beaches, and can be easily accessed both by families and people with disabilities. Vehicles can be parked near the elevators (Daniel Hotel), and then it’s just a short walk down the deck, which reaches almost all the way to the waterline.

In addition, Acadia beach is considered to be the sportiest beach in the city, and during the season hosts volleyball, footvolley and beach soccer matches.

As part of the efforts to make beaches more accessible to people with disabilities, Acadia North Beach offers two elevators that serve people with disabilities and those arriving with strollers. A special wheelchair suitable for use in the water may be collected from the medic’s station.
